This is the environment I see my silent stings for Brief 3 and 4 being placed:

ITV Billboards
The logos for these three are all featured on the bottom right:
This is an older style advert, and the logo features on the left hand side.
This is with the old logo, and again it features on the left.
These are with an even older logo, maybe 2002? They are quite cheap looking, I really dislike the logo, its not very easy to read, and the colours aren't very nice. What were they thinking?!
London Underground Advertising
Millions of people pass through the corridors of the London Underground everyday - a perfect place to advertise!
Research I did last term on CBS Outdoors:

ITV Off-Air Campaign
What I found from these images are that for off air campaigns the logo for ITV is on the right.
A different approach to ITV's off air campaigns, an illustrated style, almost in a catch phrase visual.
Effective visuals for the live debate for prime minister on ITV. The white profiles of the faces really advance from the black background, its a really striking image, it does make you think it is an ITV 'fictional' programme, but the small print shows its for the election.
An image showing the new 'Bill'.
'Agency: BBH
Client: ITV
ITV has launched its first series of campaigns as created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH), its advertising agency appointed in October.
Off-air campaigns for the brand-new interlinked dramas ‘Moving Wallpaper/Echo Beach’ include posters and press, as well as online work from ITV’s digital agency Dare.
The push also includes campaigns for the comedy drama series ‘Honest’ and ‘Primeval’.
The marketing activity coincides with the unveiling of a new look ITV1 schedule in 2008, which sees the return of News at Ten, an increased focus on weekday peak time hours and a revitalised weekend line up.
ITV Group Marketing Director, David Pemsel, said, “BBH is delivering a refreshing approach and tone to ITV’s off-air marketing which lead us into the new era of our content-led strategy.
“With a higher level of aspiration, we will continue to engage our mainstream audiences in clever and entertaining ways. Viewers will also see more synergy across ITV’s channels.”
BBH’s remit is to develop off-air creative work across the ITV channel portfolio working alongside ITV Creative, who continue to produce all on-air creative, and Dare, ITV’s digital agency.'

TV Choice - Ad Spec
TV Choice is the magazine my advert will be shown in, as I felt it would be more appropriate to display it in a television magazine then any other type.
Here are the specifications for the advert:

ITV Branding
It would have been helpful to both Brief 3 and Brief 4 to have a look at the branding guidelines - unfortunately I do not have an ITV contact to help me request the password to access it!

ITV Drama Trailer (Channel Branding)
This is a trailer to show all the dramas that ITV will be showing this Winter 2011, the logo has changed to an animated, glittery, more christmassy style, but still remains in the usual ITV positioning.
ITV Trailer
Another ITV trailer, although this one has the menu across the bottom to advertise when the programme will be on
(Maybe this will need adding to mine?)

Virus 82
This is fantastic! I love it. The sound is a collection of sound effects but they work with the animation. The jerky swipes across the screen create the sense of hand held, tense scenes. At 0:10 I love how it zooms out and shows the full image, and at 0:13 the overlay of a semi transparent layer that jerks, reminds me of something from a horror movie. The constant beat in the background adds to this tension as well. I think its a really well put together piece. IT builds up to a peak at 1:11, and then calms down, similar to the structure of a horror/thriller film.
The jerky over laying of images effect is something similar to what I want to use in my motion.
Dispatches: China's Lost Children
A beautifully made film, the music and flow of the piece really sets the scene, it is incredibly haunting as well with the desolate scenery, and the vastness of the Great Wall of China with the images of the 'lost children' really homes in on the kinds of numbers in question. When the fact appears on the screen, '70,000 children are abducted from China each year.' It creates a very unsettling atmosphere, I myself, was not prepared for that number.
I would love to have the knowledge and equipment to film something like this, especially for this brief.

Dispatches Trailer
This is a great example of a trailer, it relates to the topic of 'Care' with lots of paper work, and the music is quite haunting along with the different speech clips from the programme. The typographic concept of certain words appearing on forms is effective visually and conceptually.

BBC Trailer: Eastenders Xmas
This is a trailer showing the BBC logo present throughout, but as it's BBC the logo is placed in the centre at the bottom.
ITV Trailer: Coronation Street
This ITV trailer for Coronation Street has the date of the screening in a central alignment to the programme name, with the ITV logo remaining in the left and the sponsor in the bottom right.

Kobb Media
This was really tense! I loved the way the music interacted with the motion, the use of special effects with video is really interesting! I want to make work like this!!
I would love my CCTV motion graphic to look like this - I know it won't!

CCTV Footage
CCTV compared to normal film:
- Blurry
- Jittery
- Colours are dull
- Time/date etc. on bottom.
This video is solely for the purpose of analysing the visual of CCTV.

CCTV 'Style'
This is a much more smoother video, however the colours still seem dull, and it is blurry. The time and date are much smaller in the top left corner.
It's pretty hard to find footage that isn't going to be too distressing although I am not saying this ordeal wouldn't have terrified the worker. This video is solely for the purpose of analysing the visual of CCTV.

Insert Paranoid Message Here
This isn't an official poster, but has been designed in response to the Met Police poster on my 23rd October blog post. There was a 'remix challenge' on boingboing.net where people were posting their adaptations of the original like the above one, which I absolutely love! It's true, the original, creates a sense of panic.
This is quite a humourous approach to the poster, a total different way of looking at it compared to the one above which is more serious but satirical.
I found a blog (boingboing) with a series of links showing these different 'remixes' I then stumbled upon a Flickr group of 147 different variations!
From the Flickr group:
Using one of the original images from the campaign - but the text is the individuals's own, quite rightly so.
In terms of concept this is fantastic!!
Not aimed at terrorism/cctv but nonetheless humourous and clever.
My version can be seen here. Click the link to my Design Practice.

Dispatches
This is a trailer for Dispatches: Afghanistan's Dirty War, the type used is appropriate as it has that army feel to it, they way it enters and exits the screen is appropriate for the mood being created, also the colour and font is well suited for the piece. The sound as it appears on the screen makes it seem authentic too. The use of still and moving images throughout is effective.
